Becoming a member of the CRCA gives you access to an extensive calendar of member-only events, including our season-long free coaching program and 12 Club races in Central Park. Club races are open to members only, and include mass-start loops of Central Park. Races are run over a variety of distances in a scratch or points format, and incorporate different finishes. In addition, the club organizes an array of social events. These include club rides, parties, and other activities.

CRCA offers four membership options, which provide different levels of access to rides, events, coaching sessions, and races. CRCA strongly encourages potential members to consider a Season Pass membership.  The Season Pass offers the best value for multiple races, and includes access to the series-long waiver, which speeds up registration lines on race mornings.

CRCA has also greatly improved the value of Donor membership. Donor members are a vital source of financial support for the club, and receive various exclusive perks.

PLEASE NOTE:

We are no longer offering New Members Skills Sessions for the 2017 season.  If you are a new Cat 4/5 member interested in joining CRCA and racing the remaining Club series please contact riderdevelopment@crca.net to schedule a private session.

Prior to racing in the CRCA Club Race series, all members must:

  • Be a CRCA Racing, Season Pass, or Donor member
  • Have attended a New Members Skills session (for all new Cat 4&5 members)
  • Hold a current USAC Racing License

Marshaling Assignment

To make it possible for the club to hold races in Central Park, each racing member must marshal during the racing season, which runs from March through November.

Marshals are required by the NYC Parks Department to be stationed on the Central Park course to ensure the safety of racers and other park users. Marshals also serve as ambassadors of the club for those who stop to ask for information.

Once you have joined, login to schedule your dates. Please refer to the MARSHALING INSTRUCTIONS & POLICY for more information about your assignment.

New Racers Skills Coaching Session
