For 2014 CRCA is proud to announce that the CRCA Elite Men’s Racing Series is being revamped and renamed the EURIS VIDAL ELITE MEN’S RACING SERIES. Though the support of Foundation Cycling New York, Euris’ former team, we are pleased to have secured a multi-year partnership that will support the continued growth of this series over time.
EURIS VIDAL ELITE MEN’S RACE SERIES
For 2014 the EURIS VIDAL ELITE MEN’S RACE SERIES will include seven of the most exciting and prestigious races in New York City, including criteriums, circuit races, a road race and a time trial. Riders will score points at each of these events, with the series winner receiving their award and the series prize pool at the CRCA End of Season party.

- Orchard Beach Criterium and Kid’s Race
- Bear Mountain Spring Classic
- Dave Jordan Central Park Classic
- Lou Maltese Memorial and Team Invitational
- Megnoni Grand Prix

We are revamping the series scoring and will provide updated information primary to the start of the series at the Grant’s Tomb Criterium. Prior series scoring awarded the top 7 finishers at each race the following points:
- 1st – 10
- 2nd – 7
- 3rd – 5
- 4th – 4
- 5th – 3
- 6th – 2
- 7th – 1.
To participate in the series in road races riders must be in the P/1/2 (or if appropriate P/1/2/3 field). Riders in Master’s fields will not be eligible to score series points.

CONTRIBUTE TO THE EURIS VIDAL ELITE MEN’S RACING SERIES FUND
Funding for the EURIS VIDAL ELITE MEN’S RACING SERIES was led by Foundation Cycling New York with the goal of obtaining multiple years of funding for the series prize pool. Donations to the series – proceeds of which will be utilized entirely and exclusively for the EURIS VIDAL ELITE MEN’S RACING SERIES prize pool – may be made via Paypal. Donations will be held in escrow by CRCA and working with Foundation Cycling New York will be allocated on an annual basis to the series prize pool in the hope of growing the series prize pool, and the overall prestige of the series, over time.
