Women’s Development 3/4 Series presented by Bike Doctor NYC
For 2012 CRCA is proud to introduce the new Women’s Development Series presented by Bike Doctor NYC. The goal of this new series is to provide area Women additional open racing opportunities and thanks to Bike Doctor NYC’s sponsorship of the 2012 Women’s Development Racing program this series prize pool worth in excess of $1,500.

The Women’s Development 3/4 Series presented by Bike Doctor NY includes three open races in Central Park as well as two ITT’s: the flat FBF TT and the Alpine Hill Climb TT. This series will be open to non-CRCA members via Bikereg (no day of registration for non-CRCA members). See below for important information on registration.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS – IMPORTANT
- Road Races: CRCA members
- April 21: registration will be the same as for standard CRCA races. Bring a signed waiver, use your CRCA race number and pay the $15 registration fee. CRCA dinosaur members do not pay any race fee for April 21 and June 2.
- June 2: registration will be the same as for standard CRCA races. Bring a signed waiver, use your CRCA race number and pay the $15 registration fee. CRCA dinosaur members do not pay any race fee for April 21 and June 2.
- June 30: all racers, including CRCA members, must register on Bikereg. Waiver and race number will be provided at registration. No day of registration. CRCA dinosaur membership does not apply.
- Road Races: Non-CRCA members
- Non-CRCA members: registration must be completed in advance via Bikereg for all races. Waiver and race number will be provided at registration. No day of registration for non-CRCA members for any races.
- Time Trials
- All registration will be completed online via Bikereg. There will be no day of registration. Waiver and race number will be provided at registration.
COACHING
All non-CRCA women participating in the Women’s 3/4 road races will have the opportunity to participate in CRCA coaching sessions prior to the road races. Additional details will be published here, but we strongly encourage all racers, both CRCA and non-CRCA, to take advantage of these sessions. SERIES GC COMPETITION
- The top 7 finishers at each of the races will be awarded the following points: 1st – 10, 2nd – 7, 3rd – 5, 4th – 4, 5th – 3, 6th – 2, 7th – 1.
- Series prize pool: the top three finishers during the series will receive GC awards.
