Bear Mountain Spring Classic / NYS Championship

BEAR MOUNTAIN SPRING CLASSIC & NEW YORK STATE ROAD RACE CHAMPIONSHIP PRESENTED BY CRCA

One of the oldest and perhaps the most prestigious races on the CRCA calendar, the Bear Mountain Spring Classic has attracted elite level competitors from professional teams such as Navigators, Team Type 1, Kelly Benefit Strategies and Jamis Sutter Home.  In 2009 the women’s champion was current pro Evelyn Stevens.

For 2012 the race will return to its original course (last used in 2009).  The course is widely regarded as one of the finest on the east coast and has been the site of past district and national championships. In 2012 the event also has the added prestige of being the New York State Road Race Championships.
