The all-volunteer CRCA Board is pleased to announce details for the 7th Annual Dave Jordan Central Park Classic on Saturday June 2nd 2018. Thanks to the generous support of the Jordan Family the 2018 Dave Jordan Central Park Classic will remain the highest caliber race in the region with an elite prize pool to match.
The Elite Men's and Elite Women's field start with equal $3,000 prize pools on the finish line. In addition each lap will feature winner take all $100 primes that will bring the total prize pool for the event to over $7,600. The race will also once again feature coffee and bagels for all racers as we come together post-race to celebrate the winners, the memory of Dave Jordan, and the Jordan family's commitment to insuring elite level racing continues in Central Park. The Jordan family will also be sponsoring the Juniors field at the upcoming Fort Lee Criterium.
Outside of the Elite Men and Elite Women races the other fields for the Dave Jordan Central Park Classic will be: Men Category 3, Men Category 4, and Men Category 5. The Men Category 5 will be capped at just 60 riders so please register early. In recent years all of the Men's fields have sold out.
Registration is now open on Bikereg.com with the usual significant early registration discounts that feature prominently at all CRCA Open Races (registration for the DJCPC started at just $35). We hope to see you in Central Park on June 2nd. As always there is no day of registration for the event.
