We currently have more than 600 registrants ready for next weekend’s CRCA Roka Grant’s Tomb Criterium but we just wanted to remind all racers that the last early registration discounts expire at midnight tomorrow (Friday). After that registration increases to $50 for your first race and $20 for each race thereafter.

A few additional announcements
A new NYC street use permit required for this year’s event means that NO TEAM TENTS will be allowed at this year’s race. CRCA will provide a few communal tents along the finishing straight, but no team tents will be permitted per the terms of our NYC permits (Sorry! We don’t control the permits, we just have to abide by them).
We remind all riders, racers, and race volunteers to please exercise the utmost respect for other pedestrians at and around the race. Maintaining good relations with community organizations and residents is the ONLY way to keep Grant’s Tomb happening year after year. If you see NYPD, National Parks Service, or Riverside Church goers please thank them for their support.
Finally, another big thank you to ROKA for sponsoring the event for a second consecutive year. The costs associated with organizing Grant’s Tomb have increased significantly and ROKA’s support is essential to sustaining the race.
