It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of a beloved member of our CRCA family, James “Jimmy” Washington.
Jimmy has been a stalwart of our Open Racing team for the past five plus years. You may have encountered him at registration, or handing out prize envelopes for our podium presentations as recently as the Grant’s Tomb Criterium. Always a reliable fixer with a seemingly tough exterior when you first meet him, but immensely kind, funny and warm when you got to chatting with him. We are heartbroken, and send our condolences to his family and loved ones. Jimmy, you will be sorely missed by CRCA.
