The Master's Club Championship was held today with a 40+, 50+ and 60+ each scored separately. Dr. John Loehner (Stan's NoTubes/AXA) had no problem pulling away from the field and staying away to take the win in the 40+ field. Erin Korff (Axis) was second and Frank Arroyo (Global Locate) was third. In the Men's 50+, club championship title went to Gerry Martinez (Global Locate) from Vinni Vicari (Houlihan-Lokey/Sanchez) and Jose Collardo (Global Locate).
In what I believe is a first, we held a 60+ event as well. Bill Anderson took the inaugural win, outlasting Alan Resnick.
In the Men's B field, an early break was eventually chased down and subsequent break attempts didn't stick which left Siggi's to place what seemed like 12 men on the front and take the top 3 spots. Roger Parmalee, Josh Sakofsky and Ernie Paredes taking those first three places. Foundation manged to get only one rider in the top 7 placings and with Siggi's scoring the maximum available 22 points, Siggi's moves into 1st place in the Team Cup competition by just one point.
In the Women's Field, Kristin Lotito (Houlihan-Lokey/Sanchez) took her 8th win of the season, despite being without her regular sidekick. Sarah Sauvayre (Comedy Central) was second and Mackenzie Mudgett (NY Velocity Women's Racing Team) was third.
