Weekend Race Results

This weekend's club race on Saturday saw Bryan Borgia win the A race (Bryan, where were you when I predicted you for a Boyd Bonus win??), Matthew Vandivort win his second B race in row, Raquel Miller win the Women's race and Mauricio Sanchez win the C race. Full results are posted here.

Club Members were also active at the New York State Time Trial Championships.   Robert Rakowitz (Sids Bikes NYC) took gold in the men's category 4.  Robert Stern (Die Hard Think Racing) received a silver medal for his performance in the Masters 55+,  Phil Penman (BH/Garneau) took Bronze in the Men's 1/2/3 as did Kurt Gustufsson (Axis)  in the Masters 45+ and Stephanie Busloff (Rockstar Games/Signature Cycles). Congratulations to all.

On Sunday in Prospect Park, Igor Volshteyn (Jonathan Adler Racing Team) won the Pro/1/2 race, Steve Mamo and Andrew Clerico (BH/Garneau) took first and second in the Category 3 race.  Roger Friedman (Die Hard Think Racing) was second in the Masters.

5/21 Club Race Results Now with Video from the A Break

A perfect Spring morning greeted riders for today's club race. Watch a video from Zachary Koop who bridged up to the break on the last lap and finished in 3rd.

Greg Olsen (Jonathan Adler Racing) took the win in the Men's A race; Ryan McGarrity (Siggi's/NYVelocity) took the Men's B race; Kristin Lotitio (Houlihan-Lokey/Sanchez) continued her dominance of the Women's field and John Blake (Foundation) won the C Field.

In the Team Cup Competitions: - Jonathan Adler closed the gap on Foundation today in the Men's A competition - Siggi's/NYVelocity increased their lead over Foundation in the Men's B competition - In the Women's competition, Houlihan-Lokey/Sanchez cemented what looks to be unbeatable lead even at this point of the season

In the Jim Boyd Competitions: - The A field is wide open with David Taylor maintaining a small lead over Colin Prensky and  Greg Olsen - Ryan McGarrity has a sizeable lead over Greg Waggoner  and Brian Collet in the B field - Kristin Lotitio leads the Women's field over Fabienne Gerard and Ann Marie Miller

The next race is the TT event on Saturday June 4.  The TTT counts for Team Points and the ITT for Boyd Points.  Due to the unavailability of a suitable course at Harriman State Park, the TT event will be run at Floyd Bennett Field.  This is an open race so you will need to register at Bikereg here.

April 23rd Race Results

The rain, wind, and cold temps kept most racers away this morning.  In the A field, the attacks came on every lap until the 4th lap when a group pulled away from what was left of the field, Colin Prensky of L.Raphael-Leopard Cycles sprinted for the win out of the break.  In the B Field, two riders broke away with  Alex Brinkley taking 1st and Brian Sullivan taking 2nd.    Fabienne Gerard, Fuoriclasse/Discover Chiropractic won the women's race, and Michael Nelson finished 1st in the C field.
