CRCA Series Standings after the Mengoni Grand Prix

Double points for the Mengoni Grand Prix made a difference in the CRCA Award standings but there is still a whole lot of racing ahead including Club Series #7 this coming weekend and double points at the upcoming Lou Maltese Club Championship (part of the CRCA Club Series) and the CRCA Tour de Fort Lee Criterium (an open race).

Full standings are always available here: Results & Standings while the rules for the various competitions are available here: CRCA Awards. And if you want to participate in any of these competitions make sure to Join CRCA!

Jim Boyd Cup

On the Men's side of the Jim Boyd Cup Allan Rego's second place finish was sufficient to give him some added space to his various chasers while Scott Savory's win combined with 20 points at Grant's Tomb and 14 points at Orchard Beach were sufficient to move him ahead of Victor Gras in the standings by a mere point.

  1. Allan Rego - 74
  2. Scott Savory - 54
  3. Victor Gras - 53

The Women's standings were reshuffled slightly at the Mengoni Grand Prix but the overall story remains the same with Kristen Faulkner picking up enough points to retain a 20 point margin to new second place racer Erica Adelberg. Sarah Sjoman didn't pick up any points but remained in third place.

  1. Kristin Faulkner - 76
  2. Erica Adelberg - 56
  3. Sarah Sjoman - 50

Team Cup

With a dominant 1-2 finish at the Mengoni Grand Prix Jamison Capital greatly extended their lead in the Men's Team Cup standings. There are still plenty of points on offer but the chasers are going to need successful races at Maltese and Fort Lee if they want a shot at the title.

  1. Jamison Capital - 144
  2. Foundation - 96
  3. Rockstar Games - 85

On the women's side CityMD led the scoring at the Mengoni Grand Prix with 30 points that slots them into third place while Dave Jordan Racing and Radical Media retain first and second respectively.

  1. Dave Jordan Racing - 138
  2. Radical Media - 105
  3. CityMD Women's Racing - 76

B-Field Competitions

For the first time since the B-Field Competition kicked off we officially have a new leader in the series as Romain Leidelinger was able to take home 14 points at the Mengoni Grand Prix and officially take over the series lead.

  1. Romain Leidelinger - 60
  2. Conor Delanbanque - 57
  3. James Krizan - 30

The B-Field Team Competition continues to get more interesting as leaders Good Guys Racing were once again blanked at the Mengoni Grand Prix. Their closest chasers, NYCC, didn't fare much better with just 4 points but RCC and RBNY both topped 20 points each, which puts them within striking distance of Good Guys with six Club Series races, Maltese and Fort Lee still to come.

  1. Good Guys Racing - 118
  2. NYCC Racing - 102
  3. Rapha Cycling Club - 85

Masters Series

There was no change to the Masters Standings at the Dave Jordan Central Park Classic with the next M40+ field scheduled for July 7th. This remains one of the tightest competitions of any of the CRCA Awards with just two points separating the top two riders.

  1. Constantin Schreiber - 40
  2. Michael Sambrano - 38
  3. Robert Lattanzi - 20
