The Green Mountain Stage Race this weekend brought out strong racers from across the region. Despite some difficult climbs (well, you know, compared to Harlem Hill...) club members perfromed well, winning a number of competitions. Erica Adelberg (Radical Media) was consistent all weekend and did exactly what was needed in the final criterium stage to get in a group that gapped the yellow jersey by enough to give her the overall stage win in the Women's 3/4.
In the Men's 4, Stephan Hoffman (Foundation) won stages 1 and 2, took the sprinter's jersey and finished second in GC in his first race as a category 4 rider.
David Taylor (Fuoriclasse/Discover Chiropractic) was also consistent across the weekend to finish third in the Men's 50+ GC and take the KOM Jersey.
Oliver Davis (Siggi's/NYVelocity) finished 4th in the men's 4/5 field after a strong showing in stage 3.
Fabienne Gerard (Fuoriclasse/Discover Chiropractic) finished 5th in the Women's P/1/2 field with consistent performances including a win in stage 2 and took 2nd in the Sprint competition.
