SEPTEMBER: WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th, 2020
The all-volunteer CRCA Board held its September meeting of 2020 on Wednesday, September 16th. Minutes from that meeting, in draft form pending ratification by the full Board as part of the next meeting, follow below. PRESIDENT
Discussed adding a new board position: Director of Advocacy. Approved by vote of the board and will be voted on by membership.
TREASURER
Advanced marshal payments will be reimbursed for canceled races.
MEMBERSHIP
Board approved membership roll overs to 2021 season subject to small fee adjustment as needed based on budget considerations.
CLUB RACING
Discussed current field format and ways to improve including additional open or junior categories to bring in new racers.
OPEN RACING
Discussed a partnership with Unity Racing for an NYC Crit Week in 2021
PUBLIC RELATIONS/SPONSORSHIP
Discussed current sponsor relationships in light of current events and how they align with CRCA’s mission and goals.
COMMUNICATIONS
Starting efforts to create a Spanish translation of our website. Work to begin in Q4 of 2020
